Avma Accredited Veterinary Technology Programs
Since you want to become a vet tech, you’d need to go to school. And for your schooling to count, the program must be first accredited through the American Veterinary Medical Association. In the United States, there are 191 programs for vet technicians, 21 vet technologist programs, and 8 distance-learning (i.e., online) programs. If you don’t know the difference between a vet technician and a vet technologist, take a gander at our homepage.
This map is being continuously updated. If your state is not highlighted (i.e., it’s not gray-colored), find the info directly from the AVMA website.
And if you want to try an online program, here’s the list of 8 online vet tech schools.
